The Challenge
OAC Capital Advisors needed a complete digital transformation to reposition itself as a forward-thinking, tech-savvy leader in financial services. The challenge was multifaceted: differentiate from conservative competitors, appeal to high-net-worth clients who understand the benefits of Cayman-based advisory services, attract younger wealth management professionals, and create a cohesive brand system that could scale across multiple touchpoints—all while maintaining the sophisticated trust required in financial services.
Visual Focus
The design strategy centered on sophisticated, aspirational imagery that communicates both innovation and trustworthiness. We employed a rich teal and navy color palette with strategic use of geometric patterns to suggest precision and forward-thinking approaches. High-quality lifestyle photography was carefully selected to resonate with globally-minded, high-net-worth individuals while maintaining the premium feel expected in wealth management. The typography system balances approachability with authority, using clean, modern fonts that reinforce OAC’s progressive positioning without sacrificing the gravitas required in financial services.
User Experience & Scale
The design system was architected to support OAC’s ambitious growth objectives across multiple touchpoints and audiences. The user experience prioritizes trust-building through a carefully structured information flow—opening with brand differentiation, progressing through service explanations, and culminating in clear conversion paths. Working closely with OAC leadership, we established a modular approach that could adapt from the comprehensive website experience to condensed presentation formats for the STEP Conference, while maintaining brand consistency across business cards, digital materials, and future marketing initiatives. The systematic design approach ensures seamless transitions between different user journeys, whether prospects are evaluating services, potential recruits are assessing company culture, or existing clients are accessing resources. This flexibility was critical for a firm targeting both high-net-worth individuals and younger wealth management professionals, requiring the brand to communicate sophistication and innovation simultaneously.
